Lionsgate and Fandango are teaming up for movie night, starting with The Hunger Games on Friday, April 17. The 2012 film will stream free on Fandango’s Movieclips YouTube Page and Lionsgate’s YouTube Page at 9 p.m. EST.
The companies plan to stream a different movie every Friday for at least a month, with actress Jamie Lee Curtis hosting the virtual movie night.
April 17: The Hunger Games
April 24: Dirty Dancing
May 1: La La Land
May 8: John Wick (age restriction required)
The Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ 2008 novel. It earned almost $700 million in worldwide box office and was a critical starring vehicle for Lawrence in particular, who became a household Hollywood name as the film saga continued and her own credits outside it piled up.
