No forking shirt, The Good Place will permanently move on to the afterlife after its upcoming fourth season, which debuts sometime this fall.
The announcement was made Friday night by series creator Mike Schur (who’s also responsible for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Parks & Rec). He shared a statement to Twitter, in which he says, “Making this show is a rare, creatively fulfilling joy, and at the end of the day, we don’t want to tread water just because the water is so warm and pleasant.”
