Save $229: The Roborock S7+ robot vacuum and mop is on sale for $719.99 at Amazon and Walmart as of Nov. 15. You’ll save just over 24% in total.
I’ve tested a lot of robot vacuums but have a soft spot for the Roborock S7+. When someone asks me for a robot vacuum recommendation, it’s typically the model I make them write down in their Notes app.
Now’s a good time to see how it can help in your home, as it has finally gone on sale for the first time in ages (over a week ahead of Black Friday, at that). The high-suction robot vacuum and mop hybrid, which is Roborock’s first self-emptying vac, is on sale for $719.99 at Amazon and Walmart. Be sure to add the $40 coupon at Amazon.
All the best Black Friday deals on robot vacuums
The Roborock S7+ is such a no brainer to recommend because it reliably hits every must-have note in a premium robot vacuum — a mapping system that helps it navigate without getting lost, noticeably powerful suction, mopping, and a dock to empty itself — without trying too hard to be fancy. It’s not a bare bones auto-emptying choice, but for those who want to keep it practical, it’s not a $1,299.99 Samsung Jet Bot AI+, either.
Clocking in at 2,500 Pa suction power wise, the S7+ sits at the powerful end of the scale. The HyperForce suction that kicks in when it hits carpet is definitely audible, but clearly working hard. The floor detection feature is the most handy when it comes to mopping, though. In the middle of sonic floor scrubbing, the S7+ knows to stop releasing water when it comes across a rug or carpet.
Roborock’s introduction of the auto-empty dock was a game changer. While the S7 used to stop sucking when its dust bin got full, it now reports back to its dock on its own to drop off the gunk it just pulled off of your floors. The double canister dock is slick and compact, while still leaving room to hold up to two months (probably more) of debris at a time.
