Up fans, rejoice! 14 years after Pixar’s heartwarming tale of an elderly man and his dog travelling to South America via a balloon-assisted floating house, the duo are coming back for a new short film.
In the clip above, Carl (Ed Asner) attempts to prepare for a date with the help of Dug (Bob Peterson), asking his faithful talking hound if the heart-shaped chocolates he’s bought are “fun” before getting the inevitable response: “Fun is digging in the dirt and destroying your flowers!”
Adorable.
Carl’s Date will play in theatres from June 16 alongside showings of new Pixar feature Elemental.
