On this week’s Saturday Night Live, Pete Davidson appeared on Weekend Update to lambast J.K. Rowling for her recent string of transphobic comments.
Davidson, who has long been known as a big Harry Potter fan and even has a tattoo from the series, called Rowling’s statements “very disappointing.” He went on to say, “She creates a seven book fantasy series about all types of mythical creatures living in harmony with wizards and elves and the one thing she can’t wrap her head around is Laverne Cox?”
