It’s been 10 whole years since we lost the beloved and majestically hooved Pawnee town mascot, miniature horse Li’l Sebastian, and we still miss you in the saddest fashion.
It’s been as long since Mouse Rat’s iconic performance of “5,000 Candles in the Wind (‘Bye Bye Li’l Sebastian’), played at his memorial in Season 3, episode 16 of Parks and Recreation, aired on May 19, 2011.
And now, folks of Pawnee, Chris Pratt’s Andy Dwyer has got the band back together and Mouse Rat has finally released an official music video for the song, complete with fireworks, cursive lyrics, and just a whole lot of emotion. The news was announced, of course, by perpetually on-the-pulse Pawnee news anchor Perd Hapley.
