You might think Cameo, with its tagline “get personalized messages from your favorite celebrities,” is only useful for a birthday shoutout or breakup speech from a B- or C-list star. That’s untrue, however, and fans of the comedian John Mulaney proved it.
One of Mulaney’s more popular bits is from his 2012 special New in Town, where he imitates rapper Ice-T as Detective Fin Tutuola on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
Mulaney riffs on Tutuola explaining the concept on sex addiction — “You mean like when someone drinks too much? Or snorts cocaine? Or bets the house on the ponies?” — and wishes he could watch another four hours. Read more…
