Orchestra 1.0 is chock full of new features to help support teams do the creative, analytical work. Like every Orchestra, there are a lot of background cellists and bassists that support the first violin. In this case, it’s powerful new tools include things like StaffBot, SanityBot, nested self-pruning checklists, time tracking, and more!

StaffBot helps make sure your workforce is good to go, automatically finding workings for a task based on custom logic. It also reaches to the qualified worker and offers them a task via Slack or email. SanityBot covers the nitty-gritty details of project management, checking the status of various project tasks and sending reminders if conditions aren’t being met. While it can’t solve problems, it does highlight them, making sure nothing gets lost in the cracks.

The nested, self-pruning checklist is a structured approach to the review process. The dynamic checklists help experts move through and efficiently complete a project. The time tracking essentially helps manage the time cards and show how long it takes a developer to go through a task.

Orchestra 1.0 is freely available via GitHub or their website. However, it does require Python 3 and Django v 1.8 to run. They also recommend setting up a virtual environment to make that process easier.  Find more information here.
