


For the past week or so, all I have known is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
I hate that game. I love that game. I can’t put it down. Whenever I do turn it off, it is always a split-second decision spurred by anger and frustration. Developer From Software’s bewitching shinobi adventure forces you to work very hard at uncovering its many violent delights.

But it also does something elseSekiro successfully replicates the deadly dance of chanbara sword fighting in its game mechanics.
