Baz Luhrmann never does things by halves, and that includes the trailer for his upcoming film Elvis.
Clocking in at over three minutes long, the trailer gives us a good look at Austin Butler’s portrayal of rock icon Elvis Presley, from the glitzy outfits to the hysteria-inducing hip shimmying to the conflicts with his manager (Tom Hanks). It’s honestly a whole journey in itself, taking us through 20 years of Elvis’s career in the same amount of time it takes to listen to one of his songs. Bring on Elvis.
