Planning on going to the movies when theaters reopen? If it’s an AMC theater, you’ll need to wear a face mask.
On Friday, the world’s largest movie theater reversed course and decided to make patrons wear masks.
The reversal came after “an intense and immediate outcry from our customers,” said AMC in a statement. AMC had said the day prior that it would not require masks.
“Accordingly, and with the full support of our scientific advisors, we are reversing course and are changing our guest mask policy,” the statement continued. “As we reopen theaters, we now will require that all AMC guests nationwide wear masks as they enter and enjoy movies at our theaters.” Read more…
