MacBooks — they’re popular, they’re stylish, and they’re probably a bit more expensive than you’d like them to be.

But just because this laptop comes from notoriously deal-averse Apple doesn’t mean you have to settle for paying full price. It’s Black Friday, after all.

Where to shop for MacBooks on Black Friday

Apple is running their own Black Friday/Cyber Monday event where you can earn a $100 gift card with the purchase of a 13-inch 2020 MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, which certainly isn’t nothing. Still, you can definitely save a bit more (and enjoy a greater selection) through sales offered at retailers like Best Buy and Amazon instead, where we’ve seen deals of equal or greater value.

Due to supply chain shortages, MacBooks may not be as easy to come by this year, and the ones that are out there may not see as steep discounts as years past (certainly don’t expect any wild savings on the new 14-inch and 16-inch Pros). To make finding this laptop as easy as possible for you, we’ll be updating this post regularly with any sweet MacBook deals we spot from across retailers so you can make sure you’re saving big this Black Friday.

Why we like it

It’s got the M1 chip, a nice amount of storage space, and it’s at the lowest price we’ve ever seen it on Amazon. For everyday laptop needs and then some, this Pro is up to the task. You’ll want to act quick if you’re interested — only the silver is available at this price, and though it says “in stock soon,” it could very well sell out before that stock is actually restored.
