Two addictive reads for fans of twisty psychological thrill-rides from New York Times bestselling author Mary Kubica. The Good Girl: What seems like a safe one-night stand turns out to be the worst mistake of Mia Dennett’s life. A tautly written, compulsive read that reveals how even in the perfect family, nothing is as it seems… The Other Mrs.: Meet Sadie and Will Foust, the new couple in town. When their neighbor is murdered, Sadie is drawn deeper into the mystery, but the more she discovers the more she realizes how much she has to lose. #LockTheDoors

There are so many thrillers, and there’s so little time to read them. I should know, given that my thriller TBR on Goodreads is about a mile long. (To complicate matters, some of my favorite authors have books coming out soon. I’m looking at you, Riley Sager and Liv Constantine!) In the amount of time it takes me to research all my options, I could easily finish an entire novel. I’m even worse when it comes to selecting the next novel for my book club. If you’re in the same boat, I’m here to save the day with a quick quiz. Pick some things that give you thrills and chills in this thriller quiz and get your next thriller recommendation.

Why You Should Take This Thriller Recommendation Quiz

Maybe you’re cynical. I get it. You’re well read. It’s hard to find you the perfect book. That’s why I’ve shaken things up a bit to find the perfect thriller recommendation. This quiz has a mix of backlist books and more recent reads. We’ve got locations that range from the United Kingdom to the Pacific Northwest, with a spattering of cities and remote locales in between. Our selection has everything from a domestic thriller to an isolated closed circle mystery. The types of villains are just as varied. Handsome men with questionable backstories? Check. Wolves in sheep’s clothing? Check. A woman with revenge on the brain? You got it! For those of you that like authors who leave things up to your interpretation, there’s even a book I finished without being sure who to trust.

All of my thriller recommendations have one thing in common: they’ll have you peeking out the window between chapters, wondering what — or who — is coming. Maybe you’ll even want to sleep with your light on. If you have children, you might linger a little longer after tucking them in for the night. I can’t be held responsible for any nightmares you have as a result of picking up one of these books.
