Beta season for Angular v8 has officially begun
Now we really miss the time when Angular releases had a schedule and everything was pretty straightforward.
That being said, it’s time for an important update; the first beta for Angular v8 has arrived with 13 bug fixes, the majority being about Bazel, plus one feature and one performance improvement. Follow our thread here.
Project Helidon’s 0.11.0 released
Project Helidon, a set of Java libraries for writing microservices was introduced in September 2018. Although the big 1.0 release is not here yet, you should not overlook 0.11.0 as it includes a bunch of API changes (in preparation for the 1.0 release). In short, when you upgrade to 0.11.0, you will have to make changes to your application. Check out the details here.
Ember 3.7 arrives
The latest version of the Ember project is here with a couple of new features for the Ember CLI and some minor changes and bug fixes to Ember.js. Here, we take a look at Ember 3.7 and discuss Ember’s current status in comparison to the other three big competitors in the JavaScript ecosystem. IntelliJ IDEA progress report
Although it may be 2019, we’re still keeping an eye on what’s up with IntelliJ IDEA 2018. And so, a new year brings new bug fixes! IntelliJ IDEA 2018.3.3 is available for download here.
Also, as the new year changes over, we’ll keep updating this thread so long as the 2018 IDE does. Of course, we should probably keep our eyes peeled for an IntelliJ IDEA 2019 on the horizon…
