Set an alarm: Best Buy is restocking the PlayStation 5 at 12 p.m. ET today (Monday, Nov. 7).
This marks the second time the hard-to-get gaming console has reappeared during the retailer’s ongoing Black Friday sale, and once again, access will be limited to Best Buy Totaltech members.
As a refresher, Totaltech is a household membership program that includes unlimited Geek Squad tech support, free two-day shipping, up to 24 months of product protection, extended return and exchange windows, and exclusive holiday offers like this (among other benefits).
Black Friday is already here at Best Buy: Save on Dyson vacuums, an Xbox Series S bundle, and more
At $199.99/year, it’s certainly not cheap — you could snag an annual Amazon Prime membership and nearly four months of Walmart+ for the same price. Still, Best Buy kind of has gamers cornered: The only other way to (try to) get a PS5 right now is by throwing your hat into Amazon’s invite-only system.
It’s also worth mentioning that Best Buy didn’t have any more Totaltech Exclusive Access events lined up after this one at the time of writing — i.e., this could very well be your last chance to grab a PS5 before the holidays. No pressure!
