Before AirTags were ever a thing, Tile was tracking down people’s lost goods for them. The attachable tags have since expanded in range — they now come in four iterations for your diverse tracking needs, and are connected to the Tile Network for extra help in your search.
Using your smartphone, you can make Tile item finders ring, so you can then echolocate your way to the lost item (or you can follow Tile’s Proximity Meter, if you prefer channeling your inner beachcomber rather than bat). Even if it’s out of range or you can’t hear the sound, you can use the Tile app to view your Tile’s most recent location.

The Tile Mate
Your standard AirTag-adjacent tracker, but with an all-important hole for easy attachment to any keyring (unlike the cough stupid cough Apple design, which requires a separate case to attach the AirTag to whatever it is you’re tracking). It’s water-resistant, has a range of up to 250 feet and battery that lasts up to three years, and works with Android and Apple devices. The Tile Pro
Like the Tile Mate but better — it’s got double the range (400 feet) and the loudest ring of all the Tile products, so your keys will be within range even if you live in the Playboy Mansion. Like the Mate, it’s water-resistant with a lasting battery and keyring hole. It’s a tad bit bigger than the Mate, but not so much that it would get in the way. It’s on sale at Amazon for $24.49 instead of the usual $34.99 — save $10.50.
The Tile Sticker
This Tile is what we all wished the AirTag had been. Easily attached via its adhesive back, the Tile Sticker is the smallest of the Tiles, and has a range of up to 250 feet. Unlike the Tile Mate and Pro, the Sticker is actually waterproof, so you can drop it in the pool and it will survive. Attach it to an adventurous pet’s collar, or to your AirPods case. A pack of two is on sale for $39.99 at Amazon, down from the usual $54.99.
The Tile Slim
As the name suggests, this Tile is flat and designed to be slipped in wallets or passports. Like the Sticker, it’s waterproof and has a range of up to 250 feet. Stick it to your planner, or slide it in your briefcase. The Tile Slim is on sale at Amazon for $27.99, which is $7 less than its usual price of $34.99.
