Peacock’s library is about to get a whole lot larger.
NBCUniversal’s streaming app is bulking up its catalog with all 45 seasons of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 1, Variety reported Friday. The archive of episodes will span the show’s first episodes in 1975 to its latest season that kicked off in 2019. At this moment, that consists of 889 episodes of SNL.
No matter what your favorite era, performer, or sketch is, it’ll all be on Peacock, from the George Carlin monologue that opened up the series to the bizarre and infectious David Pumpkins sketch of 2016 to its shift to at-home episodes in the spring of 2020. Read more…
