Photos of the wreckage in Alaska highlight the power of Friday’s destructive earthquake.

Anchorage and its surrounding areas were shaken by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Friday morning. Gov. Bill Walker issued a disaster declaration, closing schools as roads and bridges collapsed and cracked.
